Route
Info
technical info
The longest stage of the competition consists of a succession of climbs and descents as the race crosses from valley to valley. The route features ten punchy climbs with an equal number of descents and little flat ground to recover in between. This builds to double-digit gradients on the way to the finale in the centre of Chieti.
Last kilometres
The last 6 km climb from Chieti up towards the main city. The climb rises steadily at around 7% for about 3.5 km, followed by the last pretty much flat km to the finish line. Final straight of 300 m on cobblestones, width 6 m.
