The 22 teams that will take part in the Giro d’Italia Women were officially presented tonight at Piazza della Loggia in Brescia.
There are 153 athletes from all over the world who will battle in the eight stages scheduled from tomorrow to 14 July.
The world champion Lotte Kopecky will start with bib number 1.
The teams presentation was preceded by an Opening Talk, organised in collaboration with Banca Mediolanum, at which the Lombardy Region’s Councillor for Tourism, Territorial Marketing and Fashion, Barbara Mazzali, the head of human resources at Banca Mediolanum, Antonio Gusmini, the President and CEO of the Polti Group, Francesca Polti, and former cyclist Dalia Muccioli spoke.
Every day, starting at 12.50, it will be possible to follow the race live on Discovery+, while Eurosport will broadcast a daily deferred broadcast with the exception of the second stage, which will go live on Eurosport 1. In Italy, the fans will be able to watch the race live on RaiSport HD and on Rai 2.
